I got occupancy on Thursday, so that was also cool. That means I was able to legally sleep there or something. But we all know I would’ve done that either way.

My family helped me on Friday and Saturday which made everything go really fast. I have no idea where half my things are right now, but I did find my passport and checkbook while unpacking some stuff #winning.

This truly was a family affair, and I couldn’t have done it without all the help. Moving crews are underrated. I’m also incompetent when it comes to putting anything together and hanging stuff on the walls, so it was clutch to have some carpenters in the family.

It was also helpful to just go room by room instead of trying to do everything at once. We put a few extra holes in the wall, but other than that, it was smooth sailing. I’d recommend buying the essentials before you move and then just make a list as you go and do a Walmart haul once things are situated. I bought too many things before I moved that I thought I would be needed and now I won’t use them.
