The drywall is pretty much done, so it really looks like a house now.

It should be ready to paint by Saturday. My dad is going to do the painting for me. I think most of it will just be an ivory color. There’s one wall in the master bedroom I’d like to have gray, and I think I want the spare bedroom to be a brownish. OH also, they are pouring the porch and basement next week. That means we will have siding after that.

I am excited to move and have my own space. It’s also daunting at the same time. This will be more money than I’ve ever spent (or have had) in my life. Renting or buying or building a house is as scary as it is exciting. But I’m here for it.
