Lots of stuff going on today.

The overhead garage door is being installed. Went bold with the color so it matches the front door. It’s not quite done yet, obviously.

Very exciting news is that the cabinets are being installed. Yaaaaahoooooooo. Most of my cabinets are SMART. They come with an awesome price point. The only cabinets that are not SMART are in the master bath. I wanted something with a little more color so that’s Marsh Harbor (aka blue). Some advice I was given was to not make anything you have to install a statement piece. You should just pizazz up a room with paint or decorations. That way it’s not a big deal if it goes out of style or you want to replace it. So the dark blue Marsh Cabinet is about as crazy as I got. They still have the wrap stuff on them but you can tell they’re pretty dark.

As you can see, the kitchen and living room are a little bit of a disaster right now. But so it the rest of my life, so we’re just riding this wave.

And oh my gosh you guys. My doors. They are spectacular. I never thought I would be so geeked up about a door, but here we are. They are 3 panel Poplar, stained in Drift. I don’t want to take them out of the box because I don’t want anything bad to happen to them. They’re so cool looking. Pictures don’t do them justice. I probably won’t invite you over to see them in real life, but just know they look even better in person than they do below.
